Su Casa Cafe

One of Peace River’s best kept secrets is the Su Casa Cafe. Featuring authentic Mexican cuisine this place is known to locals as a hidden gem through the community. The place is difficult to stumble across but once you do you’ll find yourself returning over and over thanks to the delicious (and most importantly) fresh tacos, tortillas and other Mexican classics. If you’re up for it, the margaritas will make you want to come back for more.

For being a small town in Northern Alberta the Kita North restaurant doesn’t lack options. With a wide variety of unique cuisine (even gluten free options) it is loaded with very good food and even better customer service.
With delicious food at a reasonable price you’ll be visiting the Kita North restaurant in Peace River more then once.

The Java Domain in Peace River is not your ordinary coffee shop. Ran by a husband and wife team the small shop features an assortment of soups, sandwiches, and baked goods as well as great tasting coffee and lattes.
Located in the heart of downtown Peace River if you’re looking for healthier meal options this is one of your best bets. Simple, affordable and delicious.

While not the greatest for dining in the food itself is second to none at Al’z Donair. The restaurant is conveniently located downtown with no much parking and while foot traffic is high the staff move lines quickly.
The menu isn’t huge but with a donair shop you shouldn’t expect it to be. With some of the most delicious donairs in the Peace Country we recommend you to try it with sweet and hot sauce if you can handle spice.
With Fresh ingredients and some of the best donair sauce we’ve ever had it definitely is a small piece of donair heaven.
Located At: Highway 2, Airport, Peace River, Alberta
We were pleasantly surprised at choosing our fifth and final restaurant on this list. The Homegrown Cafe is situated in the small Peace River airport but boasts some of the best traditional cooked meals in the city.
With Western food at the forefront we highly recommend you to visit and check out the chicken fingers and burgers, our favourite being the mozza burger.
